- El-Awkaf Mosque in Moshtohr:

Some of its elements refer to Osmanic age others to mamlouki epoch. But according to the writing at top of the rostrum which proves that this mosque had been constructed in El-Khwdawy Esmail epoch " the fifth king of Mohammed Ali family and the son of Ebrahim BBashs who was the son of Mohammed Ali in 1803-1879 A.D.
El- Kedawy Abass Helmy constructed this mosque the second 1898. He was the son of El-Khedawy Tawfeek. The name "Amry" is derived from the name of one of his friends who came to Egypt with Amro Ebn El-Aas when he invaded Egypt.
