The governorate`s sympol consists of two spikes -vaults-cogwheel this sypol donates to the most important activities that practiced at the governorate for exmple :
(1) the two spikes refers to the agricultural crops that the governorate famous with and produces such as greengroces and fruites.
(2) the vaults control in the river`s water which arrigate the whole delta , and it also branches three ditchs : Menoofy , Behairy & Tawfeeky .these three ditches participated very well in storing the water for the delta all over the year .
(3) the cogwheel refers to the industerial activity at the governorate ,because it has te most biggest industerial area in the rebublic which called Shubra El-khima .All of this plus alot of factories in Banha , Kaha , kalioop & khanka .
