Benha City:

The history mentioned that the old name of Benha was (ber-naha) and the name (banaho) and derived from it came the Arabic name (Benha).
Since Benha province was constructed it became the capital in 1913, finally the administration turned into governorate and Benha became the capital of Qalubiya in 1960.
The most important attractions in Benha are Benha university which includes twelve faculties whether theoretical practical ones.
Also the new bridge of Benha was constructed outside the inhabited areas.
The bridge length is five kilometers and width is twenty-six meters.
The most important industries are:
( electronic- leather - perfumes- shoes - food) , the number of rural local units are 7 which are ( Benha - Gamgara - Sheblanga - Marsafa - Tahla - Kafr El -Gazar)
The number of affiliated villages is (40 (forty) villages).
